Sedona’s Spiritual History

by: Editor on 1/7/2016

Long known as a healing space and rich with positive spiritual energy, Sedona is truly a magical place. The city is rich with vortexes, a natural phenomenon that has people from around the globe flocking to Sedona to discover the powers for themselves. It’s the epicenter of the New Age Movement, and you’ll find many meditation, yoga, and spiritual enlightenment guides and studios in the area.

Metaphysical shops, spas and massage studios, psychics, reiki masters, and life coaches can be found in abundance here. If you want your travels to Sedona to include a spiritual or self-healing aspect, you’re in luck. There’s something special beneath the red rocks, which was well known to the Native American tribes and is still very present in the area.

A Journey of Healing

The vortexes are just part of the Sedona package. They are energy hot spots that amplify prayer, mind/body healing, self-exploration and meditation. Upflow vortexes, which are relatively common in Sedona, have been linked to positive energy flows in the human body. Whether you’re interested in Shamanism, astrology, or learning more about the tribal uses of the red rocks, you’ll never experience anything like Sedona.

Create your own spiritual journey of reflection simply by exploring the many trails and canyons. Sedona is a city of looking inward, ensuring this is one trip you’ll never forget.

Pet Travel Tips

by: Editor on 8/13/2015

Pet Travel TipsA family getaway isn’t the same unless you have all members of the family, including your four legged family members. As a Sedona pet friendly hotel we encourage our guests to bring even the furriest of family members with you when you visit with us. While traveling with pets can be fun, it can also be challenging so we have a few pet travel tips for you.

– Arizona is hot, now and usually throughout the year so be sure to have lots of water available for your pet, even when in an air conditioned car.

– Always secure your pet in a well ventilated crate while traveling.

While Fido may love to hang his head out the window and allow the wind to blow through his luscious locks, there are lots of safety hazards that could become a serious issue for him.

– Stop frequently to allow your pet to relieve himself. As we all know, there is nothing worse than having to hold it for a long time.

– Be sure to have contact information on your pet’s collar or have your pet microchipped in the event they try to head out and explore our glorious red rock formations without you.

– Never, never, never leave your pet alone in your car, especially with the windows rolled up. As hot as it gets, it is even hotter in the car and very dangerous for both pets and humans.

Upon your arrival we will have your pet friendly room awaiting you. We even have dog beds available to make sure your pet also has a comfortable and relaxing night’s stay with us. For more information on our Sedona pet friendly hotel policy and for reservations, visit us online. Should you have any questions, give us a call and our friendly hotel staff will be happy to assist you in any way we can. We look forward to having you visit with us soon and wish you safe travels.

JennyPinLV5 from Las Vegas, Nevada had this to say about her stay just two days ago:

“Quiet, Picturesque, Prime Location”

Right on the Main Street in Sedona, walking distance to shops, restaurants, and tours. Beautiful and QUIET! Game room for kids makes it a perfect place for family. We parked once, and never moved the car until checkout. Our room had an incredible view with a balcony. The staff even allowed us to check in early.

And DaMama4 from Camrose, Canada was more than pleased when she stopped in for a few nights with us. Here is her review:

“Beautiful Well Service Hotel…..A must stay when in Sedona”

Reviewed 1 week ago

We stayed in a Villa Suite for 2 nights and it was pure luxury that we were not expecting but very pleasantly surprised! Lots of room and felt like a home away from home. It had a luxury shower and separate jacuzzi. All marble and tasteful lighting. The bed was ++++ comfortable. The whole room was tastefully decorated. The BEST part of this stay was waking up and looking out the window, or as we had our am coffee on the little patio the amazing view of the Red Rock Mountains. The standard rooms of the hotel would have also had this same view. The breakfast in the morning was better than most buffet we have been to. The is a chef for the morning buffet that prides himself in his work of creating a entire healthy selection of breakfast and brunch foods. The overall service was very good too. Would return to this hotel the next time we stay in Sedona.

If you have had a great stay with us, let us know and other potential customers. Our reputation is what sets us apart from other hotels here in Sedona so help us stand out above the rest.
