Fly Fishing in Sedona

Sedona tops the charts for one of the most outdoor oriented community and serene surroundings. Aside from the relaxing element of being in the great outdoors, there is plenty of adventure and fun to be had too.

Fly fishing is one of the many activities that not only promotes relaxation but it offers a very enjoyable experience. Whether you are an expert at the fly rod or you don’t even know what a fly rod is, the fly fishing in Sedona’s Oak Creek will have you hooked in no time. Enjoy the sound of the trickling waters as you watch your fly gracefully float along the surface slowly baiting the fish for your big catch!

Oak Creek primarily consists of brown trout and rainbow trout but you might get lucky and encounter a few brook trout also. Fishing around the campgrounds has proven to be successful as well as the catch and release areas. A few of the popular areas that have had great success are Grasshopper point, Banjo Bill’s  and the Pine Flats.
